In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla, making sure everything is well incorporated.

Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until a dough forms. Add in chocolate chips.

Using a tablespoon, form dough balls and place them on the baking sheets. You should get about 36 cookies.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, one sheet at a time for even cooking. If baking two sheets, switch them halfway through.
