Twisted crescent rolls filled with sweet pumpkin and spices, perfect for fall gatherings and holiday celebrations.

# What You Need:

01 - 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
02 - 120g pumpkin puree
03 - 50g brown sugar
04 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup
05 - 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
06 - 2 tablespoons melted butter
07 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
08 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
09 - Whipped cream for serving (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a small bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, maple syrup, and pumpkin spice until smooth.
03 - Unroll crescent dough on a cutting board. Cut the dough in half to create two identical rectangles and place them side by side.
04 - Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly over one rectangle of dough. Place the second rectangle directly on top, aligning all edges to create a sandwich.
05 - Using a pizza cutter, slice the layered dough into strips approximately 2cm (3/4 inch) wide.
06 - Transfer strips to the prepared baking sheet. Twist each strip by picking up one end and rotating it twice, then repeating with the other end for 2-3 more twists.
07 - Brush each twist generously with melted butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle the mixture evenly over the twists.
08 - Bake for 8-11 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving with whipped cream if desired.
