# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - 2 large chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

→ Base

02 - 2 tbsp butter
03 - 1 small onion, diced
04 - ½ cup chicken broth
05 - ½ cup heavy cream

→ Seasonings

06 - 1 tsp garlic powder
07 - 1 tsp paprika
08 - ½ tsp chili powder (optional)
09 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

→ Cheese & Garnish

10 - 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or Velveeta)
11 - Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped, for garnish

# Directions:

01 - Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
02 - Add diced onion and cook until softened.
03 - Season chicken pieces with garlic powder, paprika, chili powder (if using), salt, and pepper.
04 - Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through.
05 - Pour in chicken broth and simmer 3-5 minutes.
06 - Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream, and let it warm through.
07 - Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted into a smooth sauce.
08 - Let sauce thicken slightly for a few minutes.
09 - Garnish with chopped fresh herbs and serve hot.
