03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
05 - 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
06 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - ½ teaspoon ground cumin
08 - ½ teaspoon paprika
09 - 1 teaspoon salt
10 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Tzatziki Sauce

11 - 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
12 - ½ cucumber, grated and drained
13 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
14 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill or mint, chopped
15 - 1 garlic clove, minced
16 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Assembly

17 - 4 soft pita or flatbreads
18 - 1 cup shredded lettuce
19 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
20 - ½ cucumber, thinly sliced
21 - ¼ red onion, thinly sliced

# How to Make It:

01 - In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken strips and toss to coat thoroughly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
02 - While the chicken marinates, combine Greek yogurt, grated and drained cucumber, lemon juice, chopped dill or mint, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
03 - Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken strips for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 74°C/165°F). Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
04 - Warm the pita or flatbreads in a dry skillet over medium heat for 30 seconds per side or wrapped in foil in a 180°C/350°F oven for 5 minutes.
05 - Layer each warm pita with shredded lettuce, sliced cucumber, halved cherry tomatoes, and thinly sliced red onion. Top with grilled chicken strips and a generous spoonful of tzatziki sauce.
06 - Fold the pitas and serve immediately, with extra tzatziki sauce and lemon wedges on the side if desired.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For authentic flavor, marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours if time permits.
02 - To ensure the tzatziki isn't watery, squeeze excess moisture from the grated cucumber using a clean kitchen towel.
