# What You Need:

→ Bread

01 - 8 slices of brioche or challah bread

→ Filling

02 - 115g cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 tbsp powdered sugar (plus more for dusting)
04 - 120g fresh strawberries, sliced
05 - 60g strawberry jam

→ Coating & Frying

06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 3 tbsp milk
08 - 2 tbsp butter

# How to Make It:

01 - In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
02 - Spread the cream cheese mixture onto one side of four bread slices. Add sliced strawberries and a spoonful of strawberry jam on top of the cream cheese layer. Cover with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
03 - In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
04 - Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.
05 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
06 - Remove from the skillet and let drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For extra crunch, try adding chopped almonds or pecans to the cream cheese mixture.
02 - Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 1 month. Reheat in a skillet or oven until warmed through.
03 - For a twist, substitute strawberry jam with raspberry or apricot jam.
