01 -
Sprinkle salt, freshly ground black pepper, and paprika evenly over both sides of the chicken pieces.
02 -
Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and allow to melt. Place the chicken in the pan and cook until fully cooked and golden brown on each side, approximately 5-6 minutes per side depending on thickness. Remove chicken and set aside.
03 -
Using the same pan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30-60 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
04 -
Pour in the chicken stock and honey. Use a wooden spoon to scrape up any flavorful bits from the bottom of the pan, incorporating them into the sauce.
05 -
Return the chicken pieces to the pan, coating them in the sauce. Continue cooking uncovered for 5-7 minutes until the sauce reduces and thickens slightly.
06 -
If using cheese, sprinkle it over the chicken and cover the pan briefly to allow it to melt completely.
07 -
Sprinkle dried parsley over the dish before serving. Add caramelized onions as an optional garnish for enhanced flavor.
