Preheat oven to 175°C. Lightly coat a 23x33 cm baking dish with non-stick spray.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, stirring frequently, until browned and crumbly, about 8–10 minutes.

Add salsa to the cooked beef. Reduce heat and simmer until most liquid is absorbed, approximately 20 minutes. Stir in drained chili beans and cook until heated through.

Spread crushed tortilla chips evenly across the baking dish. Spoon beef and bean mixture over chips. Spread sour cream over the beef layer. Top with black olives, green onions, and chopped tomato. Finish by sprinkling shredded Cheddar cheese on top.

Bake in the preheated oven until casserole is hot and cheese is bubbling, about 30 minutes.

Allow to cool slightly before serving. Plate and enjoy with additional chips, salsa, and a green salad if desired.
